For quite some time.. Lets start some talk??

OK, here's a little something: In the December issue of Compute Gazette! (I'm a little behind), There's an article about the various options for buying a new Amiga in 2026, covering the The A500 and The A1200 from Retro Games, MiSTer, Apollo's V4+ and A6000 and even new mobos like the A1200NG and the ReAmiga A500++ and 1200. There's even a SBC solution called PiMiga.

They all sound interesting, except the The A500. I'm not looking for a game console. I want to get as close to the real thing as possible, which puts The A1200 in first place right now. While it includes a number of games, according to the article, it can also boot to Workbench...Yes! I'd still rather have a true Commodore-built Amiga, but that looks like it's not gonna happen anytime soom, but if it does, I'll get one and sell the RG unit.

On a lesser note, in that same issue was the first type-in program for the VIC-20. Not Earth-shaking news, but very nostalgic for me as the VIC was my first Commodore micro, and I was with the original CG! sincee #1 and those early issue had plenty of VIC-20 articles/ programs. It was nice seeing it hasn't been forgotten.

    So, how's that? :)
