• How to read Amiga disks in UAE

From Rug Rat@64:500/40 to All on Saturday, November 29, 2025 12:19:19
If I can get out to my parents house next year, there are a WHOLE bunch of Amiga disks and a hard drive from my A2000 that I would like to bring back with me to try and archive. The priority being my old BBS as there are PFILES I would love to get off (Nukem (WW3))...

What are the go to methods of getting an Amiga hard disk on WINAUE?

    How about floppies?

    Thanks.

WinUAE can read those drives and discs, you will need to figure out how to hook those to your PC, and in WinUAE you would attach it as an external drive.

The HD is more than likely SCSI, you will need SCSI on your setup to add the HD to the computer then just add it as a HD in UAE. The floppies would be the same thing unless you use a Greaseweazel like I did, then it is just imaging the disks to adf files and you are good to go...
