I like C. Can I see? You have the project online anywhere?
No, project not is online. I'm not sure when I will make it open
source. I'll have to finish at least version 1.0 and go from there.
The original goal, when I started coding it, was to replace Mystic BBS.
I liked may of the features, hated others (namely having a "configuration" program that I have to run to make changes). Being a long time UNIX guy, I like plain text configuration files. I can edit them with my favorite text editor and source control them. I dealt
with the config program for Mystic as the BBS itself is pretty good -
but fast forward to now, and the author has been AFK for over two years and more. Dozens of features left unfinished, bugs unfixed, etc etc.
That sounds pretty reasonable. TBH, I don't have any plans to run a BBS, but I'm curious and like to look at new and shiny things. Feel free to ping me @andy5995 on GitHub anytime you're ready.
