  • C-Net/5 with SSH and RLOGIN!

    Come check out Reign of Fire BBS via SSH. Once at the main prompt, I have added A-Net Game Server. Just hit TEL at [Main]> to take you to systems you can TELnet out too. I also registered for DoorParty and am awaiting registration to complete.

    What are you using to handle the SSH logins?

    I think using SSH is a good idea as the new user app is full of PII, not to mention there has to be some idiot out there using the same password for everything, including their bank!

    Been using zlogin now for a few weeks on my Amiga boards, I have 9 door servers hooked up to both. Runs like a charm, no hassles, just choose the server and it automatically logs you in. SSH in sounds good though.. I was going to do a SSH setup via a Mystic front end, but had no way to automatically send the user ID and password from the user through the Mystic front end to the CNet so there would be no logging in...

    Python running on the host machine is coming in quite handy for C-Net BBS it appears.. :)

    Yes it is, it took a bit, but I got the grafics to look right also for callers. Nothing you need to do on your end. SSH in, and se the C-Net/5 BBS in perfect ANSI. It is still not as good as calling in with JR-Comm using the Skypix setup. Looks much better than ANSI.
